Are there any rules and regulations that govern homes and homeowners in The Woods &  Morgans Ridge Neighborhood?
Yes, The Woods HOA has established bylaws governing the community since 1980. All of the Bylaws and Covenants, Rules and Restrictions (CC&Rs) are designed to maintain the safety, visual appeal, and family-oriented character of this community.
 
Does The Woods HOA have an annual assessment due?
Yes, The Woods HOA annual homeowners’ assessment due is currently $300 a year and is due by April 1st of each year. Dues are used for the upkeep and maintenance of the neighborhood park, entrance, and island landscaping, annual community events, and miscellaneous operational expenses.
 
Is external home construction, remodeling or landscaping subject to The Woods HOA governing policies?
Yes, to keep The Woods HOA community attractive for the enjoyment of residents and for the protection of property and property values, the Architectural Compliance Committee, along with the HOA Board, is authorized to establish rules, standards, and procedures for the orderly development of the subdivision. All homeowners are required to obtain written approval from the Architecture Committee for any buildings, additions, or other exterior improvements to their property. 

As a homeowner, what access do I have to the neighborhood park and sports court?
The Woods HOA Neighborhood Park and all its amenities are a privilege for no extra cost to all Woods HOA Residents as part of the annual HOA assessment dues. These amenities can be used by non-resident guests ONLY if a Woods HOA resident accompanies them. 
 
Does The Woods HOA run any community events each year?
Yes, the HOA typically organizes and pays for, as part of the annual assessment dues, 4-5 community or social events each year. These events include:
  • Spring Celebration Egg Hunt - April
  • Neighborhood Garage Sale - May
  • Summer Kick-off Ice Cream Social - June
  • Annual HOA Picnic - August
  • Kids Movie Night - Sept
  • Halloween Parade - Oct
These events require the active involvement of community volunteers to make them happen, so we highly encourage residents to get involved to continue these wonderful Woods HOA traditions.

For an Escrow Inquiry or HOA Demand Request, please submit an Escrow Inquiry Request form to The Woods HOA Board.
You can also request copies of the HOA Bylaws, Covenants, Rules & Restrictions (CC&Rs), Financial Reports, and Board Meeting minutes.
